Description
The first piece of the [Railroad] series presented by artist SOHI is [Railroad #01: VIEW]. Inside the train rushing towards the destination of 'station,' the two passengers are symmetrically placed. One of the passengers, thrilled by the first experience, enjoys the outside scenery with a look of excitement. However, as the journey becomes more familiar, they gradually become another passenger who has their own time. Although the two passengers appear to be different people in the same car, the flapping of the 'bird' crossing the train shows the flow of time, implying that the two people are ultimately the same passenger. The two scenes, which face each other like mirrors but have completely different appearances, demonstrate balance and harmony through various elements.
